Join the HGSA and graduate students from across the Arts and Humanities at Montana State University on Wednesday, March 28, for Ways of Seeing, an academic conference to highlight our amazing graduate scholars.
Ways of Seeing is an interdisciplinary event that provides graduate students with an opportunity to showcase their work. Sessions will take place in the SUB ballroom D. The sessions will occur between 8am and 4pm. Presentations, will be reviewed and accepted by the conference committee.
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS:
As an interdisciplinary conference, presenters are open to share any academic project they wish. Ways of Seeing is meant to showcase the diversity of thoughts and interests of graduate students across disciplines.
There are a variety of format options, PowerPoint, video, paper presentation, poster presentations, and an all day art gallery (for more on the gallery option, see instructions below).

ART GALLERY OPTION:
To submit a piece of your original art for display in the gallery, please email a photo of the piece you wish to show, with an abstract of an academic interpretation. As an academic conference, we are limiting gallery pieces to those that have an accompanying academic interpretation. Art will be displayed throughout the day with a written placard explaining the academic interpretation of the piece. There are a limited number of spaces available.
